Meat(less)balls

Meatless meatballs that are full of flavour and nutrients can be just as praise-worthy as their meaty versions. These are officially approved for use on spaghetti! 🍝

Ingredients

0,5 onion

200 g beans, cooked

3-4 mushrooms of your choice

olive oil

a handful of oats

1 sweet potato, cooked

100 g quinoa, cooked

2 eggs

pepper

1 tbsp fungi Umami Salt

1 tbsp fungi Original

flour (optional, if the consistency is too mushy)

Sauce

olive oil

2 garlic cloves

4-5 mushrooms of your choice

1 canned tomatoes

0,5 tbsp fungi Umami Salt

pepper

Steps

1 Cook the beans and the quinoa

2 Chop the sweet potato and cook it

3 Chop the onion and mushroom into larger pieces

4 Mix it with (cooled down) quinoa, beans and sweet potato in a blender

5 Add fungi Original, fungi Umami Salt, olive oil and pepper

6 Add the eggs and some flour if you need it

7 Form little balls and bake on 180 degrees for about 40 minutes

8 To make your sauce, fry the garlic on olive oil and add the mushrooms

9 When the mushrooms are done, add tomato, pepper and salt

10 Mix with an immersion blender

11 Place the baked meat(less)balls into the sauce pan and cook for 5 minutes

12 Cook pasta to serve with
